In celebration of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Millwood Designer Homes’ Sales and Marketing Director, Philip Brown discusses why Millwood’s gardens stand out from the crowd.

Taking place on Tuesday 21st May until Saturday 25th May 2019, the world-renowned RHS Chelsea Flower Show, one of the most famous and prestigious garden shows in the UK, showcases extravagant flower and landscape displays that attracts thousands of attendees, including the Royal family.

To celebrate the occasion, we appointed award-winning landscape architects Murdoch Wickham, who have previously designed two gardens for the Chelsea Flower Show, to design and landscape a selection of the beautiful gardens at our Cherry Tree Lane development in Ewhurst, Surrey.

At Millwood, we thoughtfully design homes to maximise the use of outdoor space. The garden designs at Cherry Tree Lane take inspiration from the various individual house types, allowing the gardens to act as a natural extension to the spacious internal living areas. The range of carefully selected plants and flowers complements and enhances the design of each home whilst the variety of accent plants, including beautiful summer flowers and striking autumn colours, gives the garden a welcoming feel.

We like to encourage residents to get outside and enjoy the outdoors and at Millwood, we use a variety of landscaping techniques to create beautiful gardens and open spaces within new residential communities.

From landscaped gorgeous gardens to incorporating green spaces at a development, we believe that providing outdoor space creates an ideal environment for residents to wind down, relax and appreciate their surroundings.
