Millwood celebrates village life, sponsoring Storrington Village Day

  • There are few things more traditionally English than a village fête. From bunting to Victoria sponges, village fêtes are rooted in tradition. These family days are the perfect opportunity to relax and socialise, which is why Millwood Designer Homes is delighted to be sponsoring the Storrington Village Day on 29 June. Just a short stroll from Millwood’s exclusive new development, The Glebe in West Sussex, the Village Day is Storrington’s largest community day of the year.

    Storrington Village Day will see villagers enjoy live music, singing and dancing performances, a magic show, a dog show and a classic car exhibition. Other attractions will include a scarecrow-building competition, a climbing wall, archery, car boot stalls, a BBQ and a cake tent.

Direct trains also run to a number of popular coastal locations, including Southampton, Portsmouth, Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton. Those seeking more exotic shores will be well served by Gatwick Airport, which is just a 25-minute train ride away. The M23 and M25 motorways, meanwhile, are 23 and 41 miles away respectively.
