Luxury Tonbridge-based housebuilder, Millwood Designer Homes, won the prestigious Medium Development of the Year award at the national Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards last month (Thursday 12th November 2015) at the renowned Bankside Vaults for its Orchard Gate development in Ditton near East Malling, Kent.
The awards are designed to recognise the UK’s best developments covered by Premier Guarantee’s schemes, a leading structural warranty provider to some of the country’s leading property developers. The awards are nominated by Premier Guarantee’s own team of surveyors.
Orchard Gate is a period style hamlet, which has been carefully designed to reflect the site’s history as a laboratory that researched the harvesting, handling, storage and marketing of fresh fruit and vegetables. The development includes the original orchard which has been preserved to provide residents with an attractive landscape and an annual crop of a variety of apples, as well as new features such as a village green, pond and allotments.
