At Millwood, our team are constantly striving to deliver the best services for our happy customers. In this challenging year, we are proud to have still managed to achieve this, and helped our customers along their homebuying journey under unprecedented circumstances. Our sales teams have continued to go above and beyond for our customers in these testing times, and we are proud to have received some fantastic feedback from some of our brand new homeowners at our developments, that have beaten the odds to achieve their house-hunting dreams this year.
Denise and Terry Prosser downsized from a four bedroom property to a three-bedroom home at Cherry Tree Lane earlier this year, after deciding to relocate to one of their favourite Surrey walking spots from a London suburb. Denise explains: “One of the main factors we were looking for in a new home was to be in walking distance to local amenities, and at Cherry Tree Lane we have that and more. We love Ewhurst village, especially the lovely farm shop that sells everything we need, from fresh meat and vegetables to bread and milk. We also like to catch the bus into Cranleigh or Dorking, to have a browse around the shops. We would really recommend buying at Cherry Tree Lane – we’re just so happy here.”
Terry added: “After living in the same house for nearly 30 years, relocating to a new home in a new area could have been quite a daunting experience. However, even with the onset of Covid19, the move to Cherry Tree Lane was a breath of fresh air and made even more pleasant by the friendly people of Ewhurst.”
Janet Page and her husband Tony bought The Mulberry, a three-bedroom property at Bakers Field in Cliffsend, and were both thrilled with their home and our service. Tony explains: “We first started looking last October, when this house was just a building site – there was mud, and planks of wood everywhere. The sales girls told us ‘it will change once it gets plastered, the scaffoldings come down and the paint goes on, and when the kitchen gets fitted it will come to life’. We’re so impressed with the house; we absolutely love it and it’s better than anywhere we could have imagined.”
Janet adds: “We would really recommend Bakers Field, and Millwood in general. We’ve actually tried to get Tony’s mum to buy a three-bedroom home here, but unfortunately, they’re all sold out now.”
Our sales teams understood how challenging this year was for our customers, so they took into account each individual circumstance and made sure to go above and beyond to help them as much as they could. Ruth was forced to isolate during the first lockdown after purchasing a three-bedroom home at The Glebe, but our sales team made it as easy as possible for her to move in when she was able. She explains: “Although lockdown meant that I was unable to move into the property straight away due to shielding, the Millwood sales team couldn’t have been more helpful, and they made sure I was able to move in as soon as lockdown was over in June.”
Despite the year we have experienced, we are proud to have continued to make our customers feel comfortable and happy in their house-hunting journey. We look forward to welcoming more happy customers to our selection of brand new developments in 2021.
