“We are absolutely delighted with the £5,000 John Lewis & Partners gift card from Millwood. We haven’t spent it all yet, but so far we have bought cabinets, furniture and accessories for our new home. It’s was a fantastic extra and it’s wonderful to be able to spend the gift card on new bits and pieces we’d like for the house. We were previously living in a 300-year-old cottage in Matfield, just outside of Tunbridge Wells, however because it was so old and the garden was big it needed a lot of maintenance and work. “Having bought new-build before, this certainly steered us to consider the new Millwood development at Polo Field. We were aware of Millwood, having previously visited one of their completed sites at East Malling and also recently at Marden, Kent. They are one, of very few, house builders building in close proximity to the city and I believe Polo Field will be the last high-quality development within the locality of Canterbury. Being one of the first buyers, we were able to choose from all the house types that this stunning development has to offer. The five-bedroom Lyndon house suits our needs perfectly, with a fantastic sized, south-facing garden. We were the first residents to have moved into the development, however, we have already been introduced by Millwood to some of our neighbours, whose houses will be completed in due course and will be moving in shortly. We really loved the development and originally looked at a three-bedroom terraced home similar to my friends, as we thought anything larger would be out of our budget.
