In these days when customer satisfaction rarely seems to be a priority, it’s especially satisfying to know that 98% of our customers in 2017 were willing to recommend Millwood to their best friend, according to market research and training specialist “In-house”. The results of its survey showed that customers were not only satisfied with the quality of their Millwood home but also the service that we have provided. This is the seventh year running that we have been awarded such a prestigious accolade and goes to prove how much our customers mean to us.
In-house’s result is testament to our commitment to deliver the high quality product and service that today’s demanding homebuyers expect.
We have always believed in giving our customers a truly personal service and have worked hard to build a reputation for producing quality homes, that would count for nothing if we did not also work hard to build a reputation for excellent customer service. In today’s market there’s a lot of competition and we think Millwood’s balanced approach and commitment to every aspect of the service we supply has helped us to stand out from the crowd.
Achieving high satisfaction levels is becoming increasingly important, as a home is the largest commitment most people will ever make, not just financially but emotionally, too.
Designing and building the perfect home is not easy. Every home we build and every new location that it is built in poses its own problems that we have to deal with. But we thrive on the challenge and our strong commitment and dedication from everyone involved throughout the entire process – from building to after-care – means that we are all fully focussed on what’s important – a place you can truly call your home. And we will help make the entire buying process as easy and enjoyable for you as possible.

“We are absolutely delighted with the £5,000 John Lewis & Partners gift card from Millwood. We haven’t spent it all yet, but so far we have bought cabinets, furniture and accessories for our new home. It’s was a fantastic extra and it’s wonderful to be able to spend the gift card on new bits and pieces we’d like for the house. I imagine for many younger buyers or families, it would make a big difference to have £5,000 gift card thrown in and would definitely sway their decision to move to a Millwood home.
We were previously living in a 300-year-old cottage in Matfield, just outside of Tunbridge Wells, however because it was so old and the garden was big it needed a lot of maintenance and work. Being retired, we ultimately wanted a home that didn’t require as much upkeep and was lower maintenance. We are delighted with our new home at Windsor Meadow, it has a good specification and the location is perfect. We can walk five minutes to the centre of the village, for the shops, post-office and pub, as well as Marden station, which has fast and direct trains into London.
We were previously aware of Millwood being from the local area and our friends, who are builders, recommended them to us because of the level of quality and customer service. We’re extremely pleased with Millwood and the sales team have all been fantastic!”Mr and Mrs Treble
“Having bought new-build before, this certainly steered us to consider the new Millwood development at Polo Field. We were aware of Millwood, having previously visited one of their completed sites at East Malling and also recently at Marden, Kent. They are one, of very few, house builders building in close proximity to the city and I believe Polo Field will be the last high-quality development within the locality of Canterbury. Being one of the first buyers, we were able to choose from all the house types that this stunning development has to offer. The five-bedroom Lyndon house suits our needs perfectly, with a fantastic sized, south-facing garden. We were the first residents to have moved into the development, however, we have already been introduced by Millwood to some of our neighbours, whose houses will be completed in due course and will be moving in shortly. It’s going to be a really nice new community. Everyone at Millwood has been extremely helpful throughout the sales process through to handover, all went so smoothly. As I said before, we were so impressed some seven years ago, when we visited a previous Millwood site, so it’s fantastic to have come full circle!” Simon and Carolyn Sparrow
“Our friends bought a Millwood home four years ago in Ditton, Kent, and spoke very highly of Millwood, so we decided to visit Windsor Meadow. We really loved the development and originally looked at a three-bedroom terraced home similar to my friends, as we thought anything larger would be out of our budget. However, we were pleased to discover that the Help to Buy scheme isn’t just for first-time buyers! Knowing we were eligible to utilise it, enabled us to look at a larger property. I grew up in Marden, its lovely and has a fantastic community feel. Our office is based in the village, so we can walk to work in 10-15 minutes, which is a very convenient commute every-day. We previously lived in London, so it was a really important for us to be able to get into the city for both work and socially to meet friends. Marden train station is within walking distance and takes under an hour, which is perfect!” Kat and Mark Baldwin
“Lavender Fields has such an authentic feel and is beautifully finished, I love the drama of the architecture. We value everything Millwood stand for, they build high quality homes in excellent proportions with high ceilings. The homes perfectly suit family life and Millwood really understand how people live, not just how people exist. Our home has so much character, it has twists and turns which enable you to feel like you’re not in a standard box. It’s truly unique!” Simon and Dwayne Black
“We were extremely keen to find a Millwood home, having enjoyed living at another Millwood development in Lynsted, Kent for six years. After experiencing the quality of a Millwood home, we wanted a home with the same standard. We looked around a number of Millwood developments, including Monks Meadow in Ardingly and Lavender Fields in Isfield. We were extremely taken with both, however, after viewing The Paddock, the location was the deciding factor, as we knew West Sussex relatively well already! We both enjoy visiting National Trust houses and gardens and were also married at nearby Gravity Manor, so this area has a certain fondness for both of us.” Mr & Mrs Edmonston
“We started looking about four years ago but never found anywhere that ticked all the boxes. We knew that we wanted to buy new and out of all the developments we have looked at over the years, the Millwood ones really were a cut above the rest and Dundori was no exception. The homes are built around a cul-de-sac surrounded by greenery to create a secluded small community but unlike many other developments we looked at, the homes have not been built on top of each other, giving you a sense of space and privacy. We loved the pretty open aspect at the front of the house and very impressed with the high specifications inside. The home has been built to the highest quality and everything has been finished immaculately, from the door handles and light fittings to the superb fully-fitted designer kitchen. We really couldn’t have asked for more. We are so pleased to have found Dundori and have no doubt that new builds are the best. The customer service we have received from Millwood has been absolutely marvellous, they have helped to make the entire moving process as easy as possible. After four years of searching, we are so pleased to have finally found the perfect home.” Sandra & Ron Maynard
