Another Gold for Millwood

Posted on 4.5.12

April was certainly a good month for Millwood. Not only did Harlequin Mews, our development in Crowborough, sell out, we now only have one remaining home at Allington Gardens. A Millwood Designer home has never been so popular!

To top it off, I received a letter from In-house Research to say that we have been awarded Gold in their customer satisfaction survey for 2011. This has been awarded to us because 100% of our customers confirmed that they would recommend us.

We have won numerous awards over the years, for both our customer service and the quality of our homes, but I always find awards that represent what our customers really think about us very satisfying. It is good to know that you are doing something right! Even in a challenging and at times unsettled market, there are housebuilders like us who understand the importance of putting the customer first.

Our dedicated customer service team works hard to ensure the highest care and attention to each and every purchaser, which continues well beyond moving into their Millwood home. We try to make sure we build a good relationship with our customers, and communication is key.

It's easy for housebuilders to think that once they have sold a property their job is done, but at Millwood it is not just about selling – we want you to enjoy living in your new home and for the whole experience to be as easy as possible. Our reputation depends on it – a reputation we have worked very hard to build.

I was really pleased to receive this award because it recognises and rewards the efforts of the entire Millwood team. It is particularly poignant at the moment because it proves that we have not let our standards slip. I believe that your reputation is never more important than when times are tough; it is what separates you from your competitors and is the one thing your customers will remember. The past is easily forgotten, but your reputation will live on. For Millwood, it is a reputation that we are very proud to carry!
